It has been almost 20 years, so now it is time to look back on the times we had. Good times and bad times, but then we don't usually remember the bad. Time to get in touch with old friends and see how they are doing. That is what we are inviting you to do. Join us for out 20th (are we really that old now?) class reunion. Join us as we have fun, reminisce about the old times, and party (or try to) like we were 18 again.
In 1984, 2 years after we left, they announced that they were closing Mercy and merging with St. Thomas Aquinas-Mercy High School. So unfortunately, we cannot hold the reunion at our "Alma Mater", wander the halls, visit old classrooms, stop by "our" lockers. All that remains of our school is our memories and some photos in our yearbooks and copies of The Mercy Shield. Some of those memories are being preserved here until the reunion, thank you Jeff for our memories.
A committee has formed to make sure that everything is done and that it will be fun and inexpensive for all. But if you haven't been asked to join the committee, don't get upset. Let us know you want to help and we will put you to work. Remember, it's your reunion too. Hope to
hear from all of the class of 1982 soon.
